Project Olympus – Fueling Student Startups, Keeping Talent Local

Dr. Lenore Blum , professor at Carnegie Mellon, founded Project Olympus in 2007 to foster regional commercialization of CMU research in the labs and classrooms.

The project now boasts more than 23 startups in the Pittsburgh area, and has been active recently in the San Francisco area promoting its program to VC’s.
